Tariff survey

By Mark Yakabuski, CAIRP President and Chief Operating Officer

I am pleased to report to members that we are making progress in our efforts to make sure that the tariff in summary administrations is reviewed. CAIRP has commissioned an accomplished statistician to do a study that we hope will provide us with a strong business case for increasing the tariff.
Every trustee member of CAIRP will have recently received a survey from the Brondesbury Group requesting human resource information regarding the operations of your office. This information is very important in probing whether there could be accessibility issues in the future if the tariff is not increased. Depending on the results of the survey, this could be an important element in our business case.
I strongly encourage you to complete the survey.

CIRP Qualification Program (CQP) Sponsor Manual
In response to numerous requests and inquiries, we are happy to redistribute a link to the new and expanded version of the CIRP Qualification Program (CQP) Sponsor Manual.
Our goal in revising and updating the Sponsor Manual is to help sponsors, and therefore candidates, understand the Program:
• The learning path;
• General expectations for each of the stakeholders in the learning process, namely the candidates, the sponsors and CAIRP; and
• More specifically, the sponsor’s key roles and responsibilities throughout the process.
We hope that you find this a useful tool in helping aspiring CIRPs to work their way through the CQP.

Do you know CAIRP members who make a difference in the community?
In each issue of Rebuilding Success Magazine we feature members who make a difference in their community by being involved in volunteer work.
We are looking for suggestions for the next issue of the magazine, to be released in February 2016.
Do you know anyone who is a volunteer in his/her community and who would be a great candidate to be featured in the CAIRP Members Building Better Communities section of the magazine?
Please send your suggestions as soon as you can to andrew.flynn@cairp.ca or natalie.alfano@cairp.ca
