In the meantime, we strongly encourage you to embrace Licensed Insolvency Trustee – sign the consent form required by the OSB and start using it right away! Mandatory Professional Development
All CAIRP members are required to complete a minimum of 20 Mandatory Professional Development (MPD) hours during each membership period (April 1 – March 31).
If you are unable to complete your MPD hours, you can apply for an MPD waiver. Waiver requests may be approved on a case-by-case basis by the Executive Committee for situations such as illness, maternity/paternity leave or other extraordinary circumstances. To submit an MPD waiver request, contact CAIRP’s Membership and Committee Relations Manager, Baalqis Hassan, at 416-204-3439 or baalqis.hassan@cairp.ca. The ICQC registration (2nd session) started December 1, 2015 and will continue until February 26, 2016. The exam will be held on June 23, 2016.

Work Hours: 8:30-4:30 M-F This entry level position will have you understanding the Canadian insolvency processes from a basic administrative level. We at Salyzyn believe you must have a solid foundation before moving forward. As a result, all staff at Salyzyn have started at this position gaining knowledge and experience before moving into a more challenging career path with us. The individual, who has previous administrative experience, must be comfortable dealing directly with the public as it is a front-desk job in our Bedford, N.S. location. Duties include but are not limited to greeting patrons, scheduling appointments, preparing necessary bankruptcy/proposal documents, preparing prescribed forms for daily meetings, preparing daily cash deposits, e-filing legal notices, general filing and other general office duties. The candidate will undergo a comprehensive in house training program. We seek a team player with a pleasant/happy disposition who works well with others. The candidate must be willing to learn, be able to take constructive criticism, pay attention to detail, able to multitask and meet critical deadlines.
